Patricia Nazzal is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) and Certified Associate Counselor–Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD) with extensive experience in mental health and addiction treatment. She has led multidisciplinary teams serving individuals with complex and severe mental health conditions and is dedicated to supporting clients through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Her background also includes work as a mobile crisis specialist, providing urgent assessment and intervention for individuals in emotional distress. Over the course of her career, Patricia has developed a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approach that empowers clients to heal, grow, and achieve lasting change.
Through Nazzal Behavioral Health, Patricia offers telehealth therapy services for adults seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and life transitions. Her goal is to create a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and supported on their journey toward wellness.
Patricia earned an MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a BS in Psychology from University of Maryland, University College. She is board-approved to supervise CAC-AD, CSC-AD, AD-TRAINEE. In practice she uses cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients build resilience, reduce stress, and make meaningful progress.
